2. On topic of the perfection that remains to be Bradley James/Arthur Pendragon. How about that Jensen Ackles/Dean Winchester (Smith?). I posted prompts requesting fic about both of them to the latest KMM and the crazyinsaneawesome lassroyale and I brainstormed (LIKE A BOSS) some ideas for a crossover AU, but there are so many characters, I'd be too much like - HOW DO WE LIMIT THESE FOOLS?

But! Because I got new friends. And I'm new to SPN - maybe there are some crossovers on that side of the fence I missed? Anyone? Anyone want to write one? ::puppy eyes:: You'd do it, and then Dean would be all

Oh please please! Is there anything I can do to prod you in the direction of writing it possibly?

Arthur and Dean are so alike but so so different. I've been giving it so much thought lately, especially in the context of the "typical" modern AU Arthur and Dean Smith. Possibilities there are endless, but definitely lacking the true grit of Dean Winchester. I just kind of want to pluck Arthur out of Camelot and make him feel perfectly at home in the front passenger seat of the Impala.

Ah it's more a time issue than anything at this point. Set-up's easy enough, Jensen's got a house somewhere in LA and Bradley's over to do whatever he does and he runs into Jensen and his mates playing footie in the park, and he's all British posh, "Join you?" and he's all pretty and young and blond in comparison to the 30-something crowd Jensen hangs with and they're making lewd jokes and hand gestures behind his back and then Bradley tackles Jensen something mean and they both crash to the ground and... yknow - something like that. And then later they talk and they ask what Bradley's doing and he's like, "I'm an actor" and they're like, "Who isn't in LA, man?"

LOL I'd probably have an easier time just informally writing it out as comment fic, apparenly.

I do like the grit of non-AU Dean, yeah, because Merlin, while potentially gritty, rarely has Arthur as anything but carefully sophisticated and very much in control and as the one leading the battle. It'd be interesting to see how that personality trait would reappear if you plunked him into a SPN story. You could even go reincarnation AU if you'd want a close connection to Merlin canon, magic = supernatural shit, except, I guess, on Merlin we are supposed to sympathize with magic, on SPN we aren't. Either way, the Dean/Arthur dialogue in the Impala would be worth gold because Dean is such a 'fuck the system' kind of guy, yet they are both total Daddy boys.
