Series one had her being cute and awkward and even *gasp* wielding a sword and being the relatively badass blacksmith's daughter, and then as soon as Arthur looks at her it's all OH HERE'S A DAMSEL TO GO RESCUE or occasionally tell you you'll be a good king when Merlin's pissed at you and/or we're getting tired of having just him say it.
